Now this is a very old picture. Painted before balloons went out of fashion! So lovely to sign and remarque this small, self published edition. I always used to have red balloons outside my little shop in Brighton. They looked very smart against the dark green and gold. I loved that shop. I’ve no energy for that kind of thing any more but the memories of vintage finds and days gone by will always keep me warm.
