**Last one of this lovely self published print.**
I found a lovely cloth bound book in a local charity shop: Crookleigh, A Village Story by Silas K Hocking. A small slim volume with lots of short chapters and such a sweet old-fashioned story. It sat by me on the bedside cabinet for many months. But through the dark days of Winter, I found myself removing pages and drawing on them, a different little picture idea each day.
This page entitled “Waiting for an Opportunity” made me think of my younger more self conscious years. I used to wait (sometimes forever) for just the right opportunity to talk to that boy I fancied or the girl I admired from afar…now I’m more about ‘Carpe Diem.’ Who can you take a step towards to today?
