Vibrant colours set this smashing new self published edition apart from the rest. With Ernest’s new bike, a bright Tango orange, and landscape colours as though viewed through Polaroid sunglasses. The original went off to live in New York where I’m sure it’s very happy.

The simple remarque shows a stationary chariot with our friends Horace Duck and Doris Dog. Horace is pretending he’s going at breakneck speed. Doris is contemplating the plight of an exhausted bumblebee bee and wondering if anybody has a little boost of sugar solution to help.
