Elaborate Remarque (photos 1-3)

Although Sea Cat was from a series called Larry & Pidge (not strictly from the wonderful world of mustard) in this elaborate Remarque I’ve included Doris dog and Horace duck. Maybe SeaCat was once taken aboard his master’s ship to help chase our rats and mice, but now perhaps he is retired and loves to sit and wait for his fish supper.

I made this picture initially for a series called Larry and Pidge - an offshoot of the wonderful world of Mustard. I’d envisaged Sea Cat sitting on the quayside waiting for the fishing boats to come in. Perhaps in former days he was taken aboard, but now he’s much more interested in his fish supper.
