CAROLYN BROWN

Carolyn’s cushions were frequently in the window of my dear little Mustard Shop on Clifton Hill Brighton many moons ago. I have her cushions, tea cosy and special sandwich bag in daily use. They are absolutely delightful. Carolyn and her husband David have been known to do a little dressing up at events. I had a posh art show in Big London and they came in full Mustard regalia. Splendid fun!

All the money goes to NSPCC, which is incredibly generous. She has raised thousands over the years. Carolyn is a shining star.

POLLY PAPERCUTS 

I’ve always loved Polly’s linen purses and to see them incorporating my characters is a dream come true. It’s an honour to work with such a talented maker for the first time, and I’m so glad she’s sharing this small collection with you. Made in a variety of tonal linens, hand painted using cleverly cut stencils, each one is a unique work of art for your pocket. Will yours be a pencil case, a treat pouch, a coin purse or somewhere to store your favourite conkers?  I use mine to keep my earrings together when I travel, safely guarded by Hattie Dalmatian, Stripes the Cat, Doris dog, Roger sausage, Rover the goldfish.

DULSE CERAMICS

Ami is a talented maker and teacher. Working from her Brighton studio with Bingo the Boston Terrier, she is a potter extraordinaire. Friends call her The Pottery Magician! 

I really enjoyed working with Ami on a bespoke range for my last show at Panter and Hall Piccadilly and I’m excited to see her new creations for our Christmas pop up. Each individually made and painted with coloured slips, she has captured the essence of Mustard perfectly. The cake plates are divine.
